To do this, they introduce lab-cultured beneficial bacteria isolated from healthy bees in non-polluted areas to restore the natural microbial balance and halt bee decline. Once bees are given their product, the metabolites secreted by the symbiotic bacteria cause complex biochemical reactions inside the bee.
